Hayden Days July 27 & 28
Hayden days is this weekend! As a former Hayden-er (Haydenite?) this event is close to my heart (awwww). After all, I was Little Miss Hayden in first grade. No kidding, you're in the presence of royalty.
Just kidding. But really.
The events all kick-off on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hayden City Park. This year's theme is "A Community that Cares." There's plenty of food and craft vendors, as well as a beer garden and balloon rides. From 7-10 p.m. each night there will be live music featuring Scorpius and Overdrive, respectively.
Festivities kick-off early Saturday with a pancake breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. courtesy of Northern Lakes Fire District and the Hayden Chamber of Commerce. Who wouldn't want pancakes served by hunky firemen? The pancake feed is at the Northern Lakes fire station located on Hayden Ave. and Gov't Way. The Parade begins at 10 a.m. along Gov't Way so eat early!
Finally head back to the park for the rest of Saturday's events and activities including a talent show, car show, games, food, vendors, and other great family activities.
Don't miss it!
